2.1 Estimates and Diagnoses

Repair estimates are provided based on our technicians' assessment of your device. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will contact you before proceeding with any work that exceeds the agreed estimate.

2.2 No Guarantee of Outcome

While we use professional techniques and quality parts, we cannot guarantee the successful repair of every device. Some hardware failures are irreversible, and some pre-existing conditions may not be apparent until disassembly. We will be transparent with you about what we find and what is or is not achievable.

2.3 Data Responsibility

We strongly recommend that you back up all data before bringing in any device for service. Repairs may involve actions that affect stored data, including drive replacements. While we take care to preserve customer data, we are not liable for data loss that occurs during the repair process. If data recovery is a specific service request, it will be documented separately.

2.4 Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times are provided as guidance, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to parts availability, the complexity of the repair, or circumstances outside our control. We will communicate proactively if a repair is likely to take longer than initially estimated.

2.5 Unclaimed Devices

Devices left with us for repair and not claimed within 60 days of completion notice — and for which no alternative arrangement has been made — may be subject to storage fees or considered abandoned under Pennsylvania law. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking any such action.

You may access and use this website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use this website in any way that violates applicable laws, infringes on any third party's rights, or interferes with the normal operation of the site.

5. Warranty on Repairs

Repairs performed by Repair My PST are covered by a 90-day limited warranty on parts and labor, unless otherwise specified in writing. This warranty covers the specific issue repaired and does not cover new damage, liquid damage, physical damage, or damage resulting from software issues unrelated to the repair. Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period by returning the device to our shop for inspection.
